BOMA's Building Systems Essentials Series - Heating Systems
The fifth of this 7 Part Series Heating Systems will be held on September 17th, 2026.
This series, originally produced in collaboration with Algonquin College, is made up of 7 independent half day modules, delivered by BOMA instructors and offered in continuous rotation.
This module will be held in the BOMA Offices Building, 141 Laurier Avenue West - 6th Floor Conference Centre, room 603
The series has drawn positive reviews from Building Operators who want a refresher on the various topics in the series, as well as from other Commercial Real Estate practitioners that want to get a better sense of how things work in major office buildings. The series is a great place to learn from qualified Algonquin instructors, but it is also a great place to hear from others in the Commercial Real Estate field and share experiences.
This seminar covers the operation and maintenance of commercial heating and air handling systems. Topics discussed will include:
- Overview of available heating systems
- System components and construction
- Heat distribution
- System operations and efficiency techniques
- Maintenance procedures
- Relevant Acts, Codes and Regulations
- Regulatory Authorities
- Safety Precautions.
To learn about the content of the entire series download the Building Systems Essentials Program Brochure on the BOMA website. Course Descriptions for upcoming modules are also available on the site.
